“Homer for the Halibut” as the old saying goes has been our mainstay since 1979, but let’s explore some of the other options that we offer out of Homer.

Salmon

We have the opportunity to troll up all 5 species of the Pacific Salmon. The feeder kings are cruising around fattening themselves up to spawn another year and we catch them year round. This is a popular late winter/early spring fishery. The spawning kings will come through headed for our local rivers and streams from mid May through July. Sockeye’s and Pink’s will arrive throughout the middle of the summer and the Silver’s finish off our salmon season from late July well into September. These salmon are as fresh and wild as they get! Don’t wait until they are in the river’s to experience the fight of a salmon.

Departure time 6:30am and runs 8-10 hours
Rates: May 1 – June 2 and Aug 28 – Sept 24 = $240
June 3 – Aug 27 = $275

Combo Fishing just for the FUN of it!

Halibut/Salmon Combos

When we start fishing in early spring the first fish we target are the feeder kingsalmon and the halibut, so combining the trip for both species gives you a great combo experience and the chance to put some delicious fresh fish on your table after a long winter. As the season draws on, the halibut/salmon combo changes with the salmon season.

Add $50/pp more for a Halibut/Salmon Combo Trip

“ULTIMATE’ Long Range Combo’s– do it all in one Day!

Imagine the chance to fish for everything seasonably available all in one day! This Ultimate Combo is a longer range day trip taking you down through the beautiful Chugach or Barren Islands where the bottom is rockier and the fishing more diverse. Here you have the opportunity to fish away from the daily charter fleet and have access to possibly larger halibut, fight a lingcod on a jig, catch a variety of rockfish or get lucky with silver or king salmon! There is always a chance of watching whales up close and personal. This is the Ultimate in day fishing out of Homer.

Ultimate Combo's ~ $375 (min. 4 passengers)
Boat rate (less than 6 passengers) ~ $2100

Weather can at times be a factor due to the area and distance we want to fish, in the event that it does not cooperate, we would be able to still find you some great halibut fishing and adjust the rate back at the dock.
